Defender la Artesanía y la Personalidad de Cada Material Un vez más nos enfrentamos con el reto de crear objetos altamente innovadores, usar nuevas técnicas y sobre todo nuevas tecnologías. Tal vez mi punto de vista sobre el diseño es diferente, no estoy en contra de la industrialización del diseño pero considero realmente importante no dejar a un lado la esencia de la artesanía, y con artesanía no me refiero solamente a los telares bordados por semanas y semanas o unos floreros de barro negro hechos y horneados a mano. Me refiero a la artesanía en donde una persona, sea cual sea su profesión crea un objeto, que cumple con determinada función y se adapta. Ya sea a sus necesidades o las necesidades de alguien más. Reitero que no tengo nada en contra de la industria, pero mi punto de vista es que el factor humano es esencial. Cuando eres artesano y estás cansado aprietas un telar de un modo diferente y sale otra forma, para mi, eso es un valor agregado y ninguna impresora 3D o una maquina de corte laser lo ofrece. Hace falta algo más que lo racional. Las máquinas no tienen humor ni sentimientos. Y tú como diseñador tienes que hacer sentir algo a la otra persona. Ahí está el tema. El diseño no solo debe de ser funcional o racional. El diseño es comunicación, te dice cosas, te abraza, te sonríe o te echa para atrás.
CONCEPTO
Este proyecto añade un espíritu lúdico, una inspiración en el arte clásico y una gran pasión por preservar las técnicas clásicas, que van de la creación de moldes de cerámica a la metalurgia. Crea un homenaje a las personas que viven, crean y trabajan el diseño. Crea un vinculo con las artes creativas como la danza, la moda y la floristería. Y se inspira en mi pasión por las esculturas antiguas. El objetivo inicial fue utilizar un material o un componente diferente, sofisticado pero a la vez extremadamente ordinario; la sal. Ampliar sus fronteras materializándolas para crear piezas divertidas y a su vez funcionales. Partiendo de un punto de vista más artístico, estos objetos ostentan una sensibilidad lúdica, optimista y empática, detectable a primera vista. Creando objetos funcionales y estéticos retomando oficios de gente que quiero y admiro en la Cuidad de México.
UN HOMENAJE
Retomando mi pasión por el arte del renacimiento. El David de Miguel Ángel imponente no sólo por su tamaño y su perfección pero por que a pesar de que fue creado con motivos religiosos, hoy por hoy y por más de 500 años ha representado la independencia de la República de Florencia. Un ícono universal de poder y de triunfo. Basándome en dichas teorías y esos acontecimientos, quisiera yo, de una manera menos ostentosa y una escala mucho menor crear unas piezas que hagan homenaje a personalidades mexicanas que admiro no solamente por sus profesiones pero por su valor emocional en mi vida. Su mejor herramienta: las manos Seleccione a 3 personas con profesiones completamente diferentes las cuales utilizar sus manos como herramienta de trabajo, ya sea para bailar, crear un arreglo de flores o expresar algún sentimiento a través de la actuación. Creando 3 distintos objetos, relacionados directamente con su profesión.

Defend the craftsmanship and the personality of the materials. Once again we are faced with the challenge of creating highly innovative objects, using new techniques and new technologies. Maybe my point of view about design is different, I am not against the industrialization of design but I consider it really important not to leave aside the essence of craftsmanship, and with craftsmanship I do not mean only the looms embroidered for weeks and weeks or some black clay vases made and baked by hand. I refer to craftsmanship where a person, whatever their profession, creates an object, that fulfills a certain function and adapts itself. Either to your needs or the needs of someone else. I reiterate that I have nothing against the industry, but my point of view is that the human factor is essential. When you are a craftsman and you are tired you squeeze a loom in a different way and another way comes out, for me, that is an added value and no 3D printer or a laser cutting machine can give you that.
CONCEPT
This project adds a playful spirit, an inspiration in classical art and a great passion for preserving classical techniques, ranging from the creation of ceramic molds to metallurgy. Create a tribute to the people who live, create and work the design. Create a link with the creative arts such as dance, fashion and floristry. And it is inspired by my passion for ancient sculptures. The initial objective was to use a different material or component, sophisticated but at the same time extremely ordinary; salt. Expand its borders materializing them to create fun and functional pieces. Starting from a more artistic point of view, these objects show a playful, optimistic and empathetic sensibility, detectable at first sight. Creating functional and aesthetic objects taking up trades of people that I love and admire in the City of Mexico.
A TRIBUTE
Retaking my passion for the art of rebirth. The David of Michelangelo, imposing not only because of its size and its perfection, but also because it was created with religious motives, today and for more than 500 years it has represented the independence of the Republic of Florence. A universal icon of power and triumph. Based on these theories and those events, I would like, in a less ostentatious way and on a much smaller scale, to create pieces that pay homage to Mexican personalities that I admire not only for their professions but for their emotional value in my life. Their best tool: their hands. I select 3 people with completely different professions which use their hands as a work tool, whether to dance, create a flower arrangement or express a feeling through acting. Creating 3 different objects, directly related to your profession.
